Delivering the Image File
- Email via the Internet
- Internet email address: submissions@dram.org
- Send image file as a MIME/Base64 attachment
The referred method of emailing the image file is as a MIME
attachment. AOL's emailer and Netscape Navigator both
support MIME/Base64 attachements. So if you're using either
of these emailer there shouldn't be a problem. If you're not
sure if your emailer supports MIME/Base64 attachments please
send me a small image file as a test.
- Include the title and/or filename of the image in the
Email Message
Please be sure to include the name of the file in the body
or subject line of the email. Some emailers do not include
the filename when attaching the file.
- Send only ONE image file per email message
It's much easier for me to handle a set of images if each image
is attached to a separate email message. Again, please be sure
to include the title and/or filename of each image within the
subject line or body of the message.
Please do NOT send Stuffed or ZIPped files.
- Background information on the piece
If you have anything you would like to say about the image
please include it in the email message to which it is
attached.
Why was it created or what inspired the piece? Please feel
free to discuss particular creative or technical processes
used during it's creation.
- Double check your return email address
On several occasions I have received great images and was
unable to post them because the sender's email address was
incorrect. If you are sending email with your web browser be
sure that the reply email address is set correctly. To be very
safe include your return email address with the body of the
message.
- Including actual models, texture maps or shaders
Please feel free to include any scene components (actual scene
file, models, textures, and shaders) with your image.
That's it. If you have any further questions about submitting
your artwork please contact me.
We are all looking forward to seeing your work.
